A presentation of recent projects from their practice, which is based on involving the consumer as active participant and the research of new urbanistic tactics - e.g. the development of tools like the indikatormobil, an urban emergency vehicle.

transparadiso is based in Vienna and was founded in 1999 by Barbara Holub, an artist, and Paul Rajakovics, an architect, as a “platform for intended and non-calculated interventions between art, architecture, and urbanism with regular excursions to border zones.” This year they are recipients of the Schindler Stipendium at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Los Angeles. Recent projects include exhibitions, urban interventions, publications, and lectures for the Austrian Cultural Forum, New York; Wienmuseum, Vienna; Gallery Hohenlohe & Kalb, Vienna; dérive magazine, Vienna; the International Symposion on Architecture, Valparaíso, Chile; Symposion Urban Drift, Berlin.
